Haven't yet seen the trailer? Check out this video on YouTube:
0min 8secs - "please sit, give us your money, welcome to the last film but this time with more explosions that we're show you later."
0min 14secs - Upside down prostitute swing. Enough said.
0min 23secs - it's Tony Star....oh wait wrong film.
0min 27secs - Pounding Drum track that sounds like a poor man's Michael Bublé. Have you noticed that Bublé has the ears of a failed medical procedure? Anyway where was I?
0min 38secs - It's England's 37th best actor Jude Law. Now that's what I call bland.
0min 52secs - Bit of fencing for the Sherlock buffs
0min 55secs - Dover in the background. Dover is part of England. That must mean Holmes was 100% shot here generating millions of pounds of revenue for the UK government rescuing the nation from debt doom.
0min 58secs - It's Moriarty...finally something to get excited about.....oh wait he's gone!
1min 2secs - EXPLOSION!
1min 8secs - Steam train ride. Where there's smoke there's steam.
1min 12secs - What a drag-queen.
1min 17secs - Jude Law's trailer is equiped with expensive anti-phone hacking technology. To make ends meet they scrap together some music from the first film.
1min 24secs - A BIGGER EXPLOSION!
1min 28secs - Bullet-time
1min 45secs - Downey Jnr dusts off his party trick of pretending to be Heath Ledger from The Dark Knight.
1min 52secs - SNOW EXPLOSION!
1min 53secs - SUPER SLO-MO TREE EXPLOSION (I'm not making this up. They're really running out of things to blow up now)
1min 58secs - STEAM TRAIN EXPLOSION
2min 1sec - SLO-MO SOIL EXPLOSION (ffs?!)
There you have it.
Sherlock Holmes : Game of Shadows is released in December 2011.

The Ultimate Sacrifice
Months ago I decided to monitor my self control concerning how many trailers I watch prior to a film release.
It started the test with Transformers Dark of the Moon hence I attempted to make it to the release without seeing a single moving image beforehand. I was successful mainly due to the fact that I was looking forward to it but not with a passion. The experiment has continued with Cars 2 but again no major test, just helping me to practice.
But now comes the ultimate temptation which is what the idea was created for. Later this week we will see the first teaser trailer for The Dark Knight Rises and I'm already worried. It's already my most eagerly awaited film of 2012 and I don't know what to do.
Do I give in to it and every trailer that follows showing me glimpses of great set pieces? Or... Do I enter the cinema next July having seen nada and prepare myself for an experience no one else can claim to have? Imagine walking into IMAX and not having seen anything at all of the last Batman film. It would be amazing wouldn't it? Or would you over concentrate? Does a trailer spoil or simply help you set your expectations? I'd rather be shocked at someone who is just about to be killed on screen rather than see the trailer and know in my head that said person survives the situation because I've seen a scene that hasn't happened yet.
Help me people I dont know what to do. As one wizard once said....
"we must choose between what is right and what is easy"
....boom goes the dynamite!

Bridesmaids - The Sarah Verdict
Selected comments from myself and Sarah on the film. Sarah is very particular as you can tell.
Potential Spoilers Ahead!!
Me - Well what did you think?
Sarah - Too much toilet humour
Me - One scene?
Sarah - Yeah too much.
Sarah - The main girl should had been younger like Christina Applegate. I mean she looks like her but older.
Adam - well seeing as the 'main girl' wrote it, maybe she wanted to be in in too.
Adam - What did you think of the ending, would you give it the usual Sarah ending? Sarah - Well did she end up opening another cake shop or what? More loose ends.
Adam - Well i think it leaves it to you to decide
Sarah - I didn't pay to use my brain. I paid for them to do that and give me an ending.

Top 10...
Things wrong with Transformers : Dark of the Moon
10. The rubbery JFK effect at the start. Resembled a throwaway Tom Hanks effect from The Polar Express.
9. The 3-D. I didn't get any added experience from it whatsoever. Best 3-D still for me was Bolt, Avatar and The Final Destination.
8. The decision to give every human character split personality disorder. Sam looks like he's on crack, parents (weed), Turturro (Coke), Malkovich (LSD) and McDormand (rohypnol). The only one who needed drugs to act better was the fucking girl!?
7. Pointless MacGuffins like The Matrix, The Ark, The Towers. Just have robots fighting robots.
6. Slow mo's? That's fine. But random gusts of wind and flashes of light to highlight the feelings of the characters? Nope it's just a croc of Donkey Cum.
5. Patrick Dempsey.
4. Not enough screen time of Glenn Morshower (aka Agent Pierce of 24 fame). Granted he has an increased amount of lines but any Bauer fan would know that Morshower can bring the rain!
3. Any scene that involves the Nest team walking together in a straight line. It's so wrong it makes a sex offender blush.
2. Running time. Some would say they have paid so much for IMAX 3-D that they're happy it's nearly 3 hours but when you see so many ads, trailers, cinema trailers, orange trailers and IMAX demos. 30mins could have been cut from script easily saving money giving reviewers less things to moan about.
1. The one thing wrong with this film. So wrong I'm not going to mention it because anyone who has seen it knows what I'm thinking. Even the ones who have just seen the poster knows what I'm thinking. Will just say that if the thing wrong with this film ended up dead in a ditch somewhere it's still not enough to satisfy me.
And boom goes the dynamite!

Trailer Tracker - Mission Impossible : Ghost Protocol
Mission Impossible : Ghost Protocol Trailer Tracker
This week saw the eagerly awaited debut trailer of the return of IMF agent Ethan Hunt. Check out the footage for yourself but if you're too lazy to click play then simply scroll here to read the highlights.
0mins 14secs - Most of the Kremlin is destroyed by a CGI bomb (the worst type) 0mins 22secs - Tom Wilkinson explains Ghost Protocol to us, reveals that the IMF is being blamed and that if any agents are caught they will be ball deep in trouble. 0mins 48secs - First shot of Tommy Cruise and we can gauge how good the film will be by how long Tom's hair happen to be? Well it's longer than MI3 but not as filthy as MI2. So now you know.
0mins 50secs - Guitar riff accompanies contractual "your missions should you choose" line so we don't think we're watching 007.
0mins 53secs - OMG its like some kind of exclusive hollywood iPad made for missions with impossible outcomes. It shall now be known as MiPad.

First ever review I written.
Review - Cop Out
Directed by Kevin Smith
Starring Bruce WIllis, Tracy Morgan Reviewed by Adam Yates
Synopsis- NYPD partners Jimmy Monroe and Paul Hodges are suspended following a disasterous drug sting. For Jimmy, things get worse as a rare baseball card he was about to sell to pay for his daughters wedding is stolen and ends up in the hands of a local drug cartel. The partners then attempt to retrieve the stolen card as well as bring down the deadly druglord.
Review - The buddy cop genre is one of the tried and tested formulas around. It can produce classics like 'Lethal Weapon' and successful spoofs such as 'Hot Fuzz' but when film historians look back at COP OUT they will compare it only to such attempts as Burt Reynolds turd-fest 'Cop and a Half'.

Job Interview Live!
12.00pm All over, phew! I'd say I'm optimistic but not Apprentice OTT optimistic. Will find out next week, feel a but sick but that may be trying to blog whilst in a taxi.
11.30 Interview time! Didnt sell myself as much as I could but if the main point is selling items I think I did OK. Would have prefered the recruitment man rather than the lady I had but she was generally friendly and helped me out when I was stuck.
